The new Gold Coast Rapid Transit project plans to interfere with Queen Street traffic conditions where 7,000 commuters travel every day.

The other options translink had in mind were to demolish one-hundred plots of the century-old cemetery or up-root sixty homes on Queen Street.

I speak to Area Councilor, Dawn Chrichlow who is not happy with translinks’ decision through southport but translink says the project remains the same.
