Young Australians are outraged over the recent 70% alcohol tax increase.

A Facebook group, ‘The Aussies Against The Alcohol Tax Increase’ has been created in protest, which has attracted 30,000 members.

Some believe the tax increase will lead to Australians using cheaper alternatives of heavier alcohol and even drugs.

Some also believe the tax increase is a revenue raising measure for the government and will do nothing to solve the problems of alcohol abuse.
